Korean Community Services (KCS) serves Korean Americans and the immigrant community at 7212 Orangethorpe Avenue. Superior Signs and Graphics has done some work for the organization in the past. This time, the operators needed new backlit pylon sign panels in Buena Park.
Increasing KCS’ Visibility with a Simple Signage Tweak
KCS is entitled to use two small tenant spots on the pylon sign highlighting the location’s tenants. Our technicians modified the structure so that KCS could put up a larger, far more visible panel.
The old polycarbonate boards were only 14” tall. We sent our specialist to cut out the sign’s center retainer. Doing so resulted in an opening that would accommodate a 28”-tall panel. Our technicians did this for both sides of the pylon sign.
At the shop, the graphic artist got to work on printing the panel overlays. After cutting sturdy acrylic boards, they used 3M cast translucent vinyl pre-colored for excellent illumination display in daylight hours. After adding the organization’s logo, it was time for the installation.
Since the vinyl is pre-colored, it will not fade in the sun but last a long time. The new sign also reflects the organization’s newly redesigned logo. KCS is now one of the most visible tenants on the pylon.
Visibility from the Street is Instrumental for Commercial Success
Customers do not like making U-turns. They also do not like having to look for a business, driving up and down the street. Therefore, business owners are always looking for new ways to introduce their companies from the curb.
Some of the most popular signs for this purpose are monuments. They are frequently lower to the ground. Manufacturing techniques are varied. There are the tried and true brick and mortar monuments. Newer technology includes pre-fabricated sign foam structures. The latest monuments are works of metal art that display geometric shapes.
The pylon is the tall version of the monument. Whereas the monument may feature 3D letters, built-in lightbox cabinets, channel letters, or something else altogether, the pylon typically displays a large box cabinet that lights up after dark. The message must be sufficiently large to alert drivers even when they are still a long way off. Therefore, it makes sense to go big with your tenant panel whenever you have this opportunity.
Superior Signs and Graphics Helps Companies Brand and Advertise at the Street Level
Whether you need backlit pylon sign panels in Orange County or are looking for a monument sign, we can assist you. Some clients have even been able to take advantage of a retaining wall to add large 3D letters to advertise the presence of their company. No matter what your needs are, we can design, produce, and install the right signage solution to make it happen.
If you already have a monument or pylon on your property, we can help you decide if it is in good shape and simply needs a refurbishment. This is typically the case when a company moves into a strip mall or other venue where another business owner already invested in this signage.
